Tag 1 : Kuching

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be met by your tourguide. Transfer by car to your Hotel in Kuching and free at leisure.

Tag 2 : Semonggoh 
After breakfast, depart to the Semenggoh Nature Reserve, located 22 km south of Kuching. The entire facility occupies an area of 740 acres and acts as a sanctuary for orang utans that have been rescued from captivity and young orphaned primates. These animals are trained or re-trained to survive in their natural habitat. They learn how to forage for natural food and build nests in the trees. Many have been returned into the surrounding area of the nature reserve. But there are few that will never re-learn their natural skills due to long association with and dependence on humans. There are daily scheduled feeding times. However, sightings of these primates during feeding times are not guaranteed due to the fact that they are roaming freely within the nature reserve.
After this great experience return to the Hotel. 
The afternoon is free at leisure for you to stroll around and explore Kuching’s charming city centre on your own. There are a lot of places of interest in walking distance to your hotel, such as the Waterfront, the colonial buildings, the famous Sarawak Museum, Chinatown and the Chinese temples, as well as India Street.
Return to your Hotel and afternoon free at leisure.

Tag 3 : Kuching - Sematan 
Breakfast at the Hotel and check-out.
Travel by air-conditioned vehicle for a 75 km ride to Lundu district for your visit to Gading National Park, which is famous for the leafless parasitic Rafflesia flower – the biggest flower in the world. Gading National Park sprawls across the forest-clad Mount Gading with its cool streams and scenic waterfalls. Upon arrival at the park you will be taken on a guided trek to explore the stunning fauna. Be awed by the enormous strangling figs, giant rainforest trees and twining lianas. If you are lucky you may find a blooming Rafflesia (no guarantee). You may also enjoy a swim in the cool mountain water at a waterfall. A packed lunch will be provided.
Proceed for another 45 minutes’ drive to Sematan, a small fishing village at the coast of the South China Sea. Check-in at the Resort and free at leisure.

Tag 4 : Sematan – Tanjung Datu Nationalpark
After breakfast, venture on a 45 to 90 minutes journey (depending on sea conditions) by boat to Tanjung Datu National Park. Tanjung Datu is one of Sarawak’s less accessible national parks, but its relative remoteness is one of its main attractions. The white sandy beaches really are undisturbed, the corals offshore are untouched and the forest trails are virtually untrodden. Tanjung Datu’s animal life is equally rich and varied and its greatest contribution to reptile conservation is its role as a marine turtle nesting site. Highly endangered green turtles and olive ridley turtles regularly lay their eggs on the park’s beaches. Therefore a turtle hatchery has been established. As well as turtles, the waters offshore from Tanjung Datu are home to dolphins, and unidentified whale species have also been reported.
Upon arrival at Tanjung Datu National Park, check-in to the Hostel, before we are briefed by the Park Manager on safety issues and the turtle conservation programme of this park. 
Venture onto the forest trails to explore this beautiful national park. Always keep eyes and ears open and you might spot some of the various wildlife species that inhabit the forest.
While staying at Tanjung Datu National Park, meals will be prepared by your guide, as there is no restaurant or canteen available. 
After dinner, your guide will bring you on a night walk (subject to weather conditions). Exploring the rainforest in the dark, is a truly different experience as many animals and insects in the tropics are nocturnal and can only be seen at night! After this exciting experience retire for the night. Should any turtle arrive, regardless any time during the night, you will be alerted by the park rangers.

Tag 5 : Tanjung Datu Nationalpark – Damai Beach
After a simple breakfast, you may go snorkelling in the crystal clear waters and be awed by the various colourful corals and fishes, before we depart by boat back to Sematan. 
Lunch will be served at a local café in Sematan before the transfer to Permai Rainforest Resort.
Permai Rainforest Resort is a small eco-resort set in pristine rainforest located on the shores of the South China Sea and at the foot of Mount Santubong. Carefully designed to minimise impact on the natural environment, it offers a great rainforest experience. The 10 treehouses, which are built on stilts 6 meters above the ground, offer you the unique experience of sleeping amongst the canopy of the trees and waking to the sound of the sea lapping against the shore. After checking in, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure to use the many facilities of the resort or simply relax at the beach. If you are lucky you get a first glimpse of one of the three different species of monkeys that do occasionally roam in the resort’s premises.

Tag 6 : Damai Beach – Bako Nationalpark
Breakfast at the Resort. 
Depart by boat from Permai Rainforest beachfront to the mouth of Santubong river and the Salak estuary. Here the rare and elusive Irrawaddy dolphins are often sighted. This inconspicuous dolphin species is rarely ever seen jumping or leaping and instead quietly roams its preferred habitat of inshore waters and estuaries. 
After cruising along the Salak estuary in search of the Irrawaddy dolphins you have a chance to visit Salak village, one of the oldest Malay fishing villages in this area, which is located on a small island in the river delta. Continue the boat cruise along the coast of the Damai Peninsula and across the Bako-Buntal Bay to reach Bako National Park. If you get lucky you might spot another species of dolphin during this cruise, such as the Indo-Pacific hump-backed dolphin or bottlenose dolphins. 
Arrival at Bako National Park and check-in. Lunch will be served at the park’s canteen.
After lunch start with one of the shorter trails of Bako National Park. Trek through this beautiful park in order to explore flora and fauna at its best. Watch out for the unique proboscis monkeys that can only be found on the island of Borneo. You might also spot various other animals such as bearded pigs, silver leave monkeys, macaques, monitor lizards or snakes. 
After dinner at the canteen, you may choose to go on another night walk (subject to weather conditions). Venture towards the mangrove forests that fringe Bako National Park and you might witness fireflies that congregate in the mangrove trees and let them shine like Christmas trees.

Tag 7 : Bako Nationalpark – Damai Beach

Breakfast at the park’s canteen. 
Early morning is the best time to spot birds and Bako National Park is rich in bird life with 150 recorded bird species. Watch out for colourful flowerpeckers and sunbirds, common ioras, fairy bluebirds and kingfishers with their distinctive blue colour. White-bellied sea eagles and brahminy kites often hover near the coast.
Once the tide permits, you will depart Bako National Park by boat. This time the cruise will not take you along the coast back to Permai Rainforest Resort, but through the rivers of Buntal and Santubong. The cruise will lead you through pristine mangrove wetlands, where you can observe and learn about the complex ecosystem. The common sandpiper and egrets often can be spotted looking for food along the mangrove mudflats, which are habitat for various species of crabs and the odd mudskipper, a fish that “walks” on land. But the undisputed king in this habitat is the estuarine crocodile! The estuarine crocodile, often also referred to as saltwater crocodile, is the largest living reptile and also one of the oldest animals in the world. Focus your eyes on the muddy riverbanks and you might get lucky to spot one of these perfectly camouflaged predators enjoying a sun bath.
Lunch will be either at the park’s canteen or packed.
