Taman Negara Rundreise

Program

Day 1 : Kuala Lumpur – Taman Negara
Depart in the early morning from Kuala Lumpur (Istana Hotel Lobby) and drive for about 3 hours to Jerantut and then to Kuala Tembeling jetty.  From the jetty, enjoy a ride on a covered wooden longboat to the Resort. On arrival, check in at the Resort. 
At 16.00 hours, enjoy a video presentation of Taman Negara – National Park at the Interpretive Centre (subject to availability, do check in advance with the front office reception).  
After dinner, proceed to a night jungle walk to experience the forest by night. Enjoy the orchestra of jungle sounds performed for your pleasure by cicadas and other night insects and animals.

Day 2 : Taman Negara 
Breakfast at the Resort. After which, venture into the nearby forest for a slow trek through the riverine, lowland and mixed dipterocarp forest to reach Terasek Hill (about 1’130 feet above sea level).  Try a balancing act on the canopy walk, for an aerial view of the beautiful rainforest. Lunch included.
In the afternoon, proceed to Lata Berkoh by boat, to enjoy the cool water pools and cascading waterfalls.

Day 3 : Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast at 09.00 hours it is time to leave the National Park and return to KL. Transfer by boat and bus back to Kuala Lumpur.

Tour ends in Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur
